24 March 2020 -  Lockdown

We’re now in lockdown, no frivolous gallivanting around and no more hugging complete strangers. Fortunately, I managed to get out during the week and take some photographs at Lotherton Hall and some on wasteland. These are for my project on foodbanks which has had to make a major swerve to accommodate the rapidly changing social landscape of our country.

My tutor advised me to produce images of the types of foods and products to be found at a foodbank so I raided the cupboards and set off to avoid people and capture them in unconventional surroundings. I received volley after volley of strange looks but, understandably, the sensible people of Lotherton gave me plenty of space.
